Dr. Joe Dispenza: Breaking Our Habits of Being

(Before It's News)

DispenzaI attended a day-long workshop this weekend staged by Dr. Joe Dispenza, in which he asked the participants the following two questions:

“Can you believe in a future that you can’t see or experience with your senses, but that you’ve thought about enough times that it’s now wired into your brain?

“And can you emotionally embrace a future potential before having the actual experience? Are you willing to think about it so many times that you emotionally condition your body to reflect that new mind by signaling new genes in new ways?”

His answer was that, if you can accept these matters, “then your brain and body can be physically changed ahead of the actual experience. You’ll have just moved from living in your past to living in your future. In fact you’re living ahead of time.”

When we successfully apply this paradigm, our brain and body become no longer a record of the past but a map to our future.

Dr. Joe Dispenza maintains that, through the principles of neuroscience, we can rewire our brains to create a new reality and change our lives. “To live by this law is to live by quantum law,” he adds.

Moreover the change within us can be contagious, as Dr. Dispenza illustrated with this video produced by French film maker Christine Rabette, called “Bodhisattva in the Metro.” (A bodhisattva is a spiritual being who serves humanity.)

Dr. Joe showed us how, if we spend time each day in meditation on these matters, we can make the brain fire in new patterns, create new experiences, and make new memories.  We can literally step into a new way of being by simply meditating each day on the changes we’d like to see inside and outside of ourselves.

When we learn something new, what we’re actually doing is creating or making new synaptic connections within our brains.

When we are remember these new creations through conscious daily meditation, we maintain or sustain them.

With the Law of Repetition a thought becomes an action, a feeling, and a skill. Done over and over again this new way of being becomes natural and effortless.

New neural nets, pathways in the brain are formed creating a new level of mind. The brain begins firing in new ways forming a community of neuro-synaptic connections.

According to him, it’s scientifically proven that, when we change our minds with conscious daily focusing, our lives also follow along and change. He played this second video to illustrate the point.

In light of what Dr. Dispenza says, the question becomes: How do we want to envision our day unfolding? Which Divine Qualities would we like to emulate? What would we like our reality to look? How do we envision Nova Being, Nova Relationship, and Nova Earth?

The point for us to keep in mind is that, if we change ourselves, we’ll change our world.
