Sometimes the most effective activism comes from creative ideas that consider not only the message itself, but how the message may be received by those hearing the message.
The silent war that is being waged between the global ruling class and everyone else, is largely a war of propaganda and public relations, where each side struggles with one another for the trust and support of the general population.
Smashing windows is not going to win that propaganda struggle and neither is campaigning, but solving problems that the government is ignoring and empowering your community as much as possible will win the hearts and minds of the people.
In Missouri a group of 9/11 truth activists have found a creative way to do their part.
“A self-described ‘truther’ group that believes the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the U.S. were an inside job has adopted a stretch of highway in Missouri, where the group will be able to display signs in return for keeping the roadway clear of litter.
The signs will go up in January and remain there for three years, pursuant to the group’s contract with the state. The ‘St. Louis 9/11 Questions Meetup Group’ will have its name posted on the signs along its newly acquired half-mile stretch of highway in St. Louis, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.Transportation officials told Mail Online that the state cannot deny any group the option to participate in the adopt-a-highway program, but it can drop a group from the program for failing to pick up litter.”
This is a small measure but the principle displayed here is huge and if applied in other ways and other situations it could go a really long way.
That principle is simply to find the battle in the hearts and minds of the people in the world and engage with them in a peaceful way without compromising any of your ideals.
