Seven Public Service Trainee positions available with SF PUC, $18.57 per hour
There are currently 7 positions to be filled under this Public Service Trainee Program, the Wastewater Enterprise (WWE) will provide training and work experience in the various fields of work related to wastewater/sewage treatment. This program is designed to prepare participants to successfully pass the Local 39 Stationary Engineers Apprenticeship Program Examination. Successful passing of the examination may lead to a position as an Apprentice Stationary Engineer with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) or another organization in the Local 39 region; however, completing this program does not guarantee the participant employment. This position is currently 80 hours per pay period or every two weeks.
Minimum Qualifications include being a permanent residence in the 94124 zip code.
