Missouri weighs unusual addition to its constitution: Right to farm. Missourians already have the constitutional right to religion, speech and guns. On Tuesday, they could make a novel addition to the State Constitution: the right to farm.
This will further protect Monsanto’s right to condemn private farms, and collectively assemble the small farms into mega-crop-zones.
If such a constitutional amendment actually worked, we wouldn’t have every state in the union still fighting to keep the 2nd Amendment all the time.
Oh, yeah, and about that 2nd Amendment – seems the liberals and socialists figured it out, that they don’t have to take your guns, as long as they simply shut down your ammunition supplies. Real shame that the Supreme Court didn’t likewise protect the Ammo like they did the Guns. Just goes to show you, only 75 years later, and you still can’t keep the old Nazi-ways suppressed, can you?
The article reads: The Missouri amendment was sponsored by a Republican legislator and has wide support in the Republican-controlled legislature. The referendum is part of the primary on Tuesday in Missouri, where voters will also decide on a measure that would declare the right to keep and bear arms “unalienable.”
