United Nations Calls for an End to Industrialized Farming.  To save the planet, the United Nations is calling for us to get rid of modern agriculture as we know it and adopt organic farms and a localized food system.

 

High-tech farming poised to change the way the world eats. Investors and entrepreneurs behind some of the world’s newest industries are putting their money and tech talents into making sure there is enough food for the 10B people expected by 2100.

 

African states should double agriculture research spending, report says. Sub-Saharan Africa needs to double its investment in agricultural research to meet the challenges of high population growth, climate change and deteriorating soils, a new report said on Wednesday.
