(Before It's News)

(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA)

Global Cooling Inc.’s Jet Precoolers are now backed by a two year warranty, according to company officials. “We are so proud of our Jet Precoolers,” stated Jim Still Sr., inventor of the Jet Precoolers, and Global’s CEO. “We have enough of them in the field now – in various locations and applications – that are still in service with no issues for as long as four years, and all of them still work as well as the day they were delivered.” Still said Global’s rapidly increasing experience with the Jets and the customers who use them gave the company enough faith in its product to double the length of its standard warranty.

“All of our components and materials are the best that money can buy,” Vice President Jim Still, Jr. of the equipment, which is assembled at the Philadelphia Navy Yard Business Park. “With a little routine preventative maintenance ,our Jets will be running and making money for their owners for 10 to 20 years I’d bet.”

The two-year guarantee covers the Jets’ structural steel frame, the foam pads and tarps, the fan propeller assemblies, all electrical components, the fan motors themselves and even the optional VFD [variable frequency drive]. “This is all double the industry standard,” the younger Still stated.

“Our Jet Precoolers are, after all, capital equipment,” explained Still Sr., “and we are capital equipment salespeople. Every single prospect wants to know two things – first, ‘How long will it take to cool my product?’, and second, ‘What is the Jet’s ROI [return on investment] for my business?” He added that in many instances, because the Jets are “Game-Changing Fast”, according to him, “they pay for themselves in full after about seven weeks – an outstanding rate compared to similar products.”

The new extended coverage is yet another reason to invest in Global Cooling’s world-class-fast cooling technology. Forced air solutions are becoming increasingly more valuable, with America’s western states suffering historic droughts and water shortages, making water cooling unsustainable. Users in California, especially, will benefit from faster forced-air cooling, the younger Still opined.jim still precoolers

Jet Precooler customers have successfully used the units to cool nearly each commodity attempted so far. The list of can-do’s includes berries, apples, cherries, mangoes, avocados, flowers, jackfruit, papaya, bananas, herbs, lettuce, bell peppers, cucumbers, eggplant, squash, root stocks, jalapenos, and hops. The Jets are in use in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, North Carolina, Mississippi, Arizona, New Mexico, Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, Texas, California, Washington, Mexico, Dominican Rep[public, and various South American locales.

Global uses built-to-spec fan motors, which are rated for high-energy-efficiency and high service factor. Paired with a Jim Still designed prop, and even fan guards that allow for the movement of more air, these fans move twice as much air as leading competitors, and therefore, cool twice as quickly. The fans are mounted on a heavy-duty custom galvanized steel frame, and it’s all tied together with the only American-made, washdown-rated, VFD that makes operating the powerful piece of machinery as easy as pushing a button. “The VFD also provides for soft-starts and soft-stops, known as dynamic braking, which eliminate start-up inrush current and any peak demand from the fans, while helping to ensure the longest life expectancy.

“One of the things I find myself thinking more and more about is our impact on the environment. When there’s no water, what do you turn to for cooling?” said Still Sr. “When these machines are in use compared to hyrdo- and even vacuum-cooling, there’s a marked decrease in energy consumption and product shrinkage. It means more food for the consumer and less money and time spent for the producer. We’re putting shelf life right into the pocket of the retailers”

“The customer is the only reason we are in business,” he said. “And it’s important to let them know that.”
