Swedish police anti-terrorist teams assemble under the belly of a Pakistan International Airlines Boeing 777 at Stockholm Arlanda International airport.
A bomb scare on a trans-Atlantic flight Saturday may have been a "terrorism hoax," Canadian officials said.
The bomb alert forced the plane headed to Karachi, Pakistan to land in Stockholm, Sweden where 273 passengers were evacuated and a potential suspect was briefly held and questioned.
No bombs, however, were found.
Authorities diverted the plane after getting a tip that a passenger, described as a Canadian citizen of Pakistani origin, was holding explosives.
Swedish police said the tipster was a Canadian woman.
A spokesman for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police told The Associated Press the caller could face criminal charges.
