DREAM Act given backdoor passage
In another betrayal of the United States, Barack Obama has halted deportations proceedings against illegal aliens not currently convicted of “serious crimes.”
The astonishing news came just one day after the Obama’s and their entourage zipped off to an exclusive resort on tony Martha’s Vineyard in His and Her jets — leaving the economic crisis for another time, when he is less busy playing golf and sailing.
And why were the Obama’s in such a rush to hop aboard their jets and hotfoot it outta town?
In view of the fact that Obama’s attempts at imposing amnesty for upward of 25,000 people here in violation of our laws have been defeated twice by bipartisan congressional majorities and strongly opposed by a majority of American citizens, he has instituted a stealth mission. Bypassing congress and minus any press fanfare or the de rigueur signing ceremonies, and certainly sans any attempt to adequately protect America’s border and citizen’s jobs — Obama, with a plummeting approval rating of 39% — is more intent on buying votes from grateful Hispanics.
The powerful motive to the timing of this outrageous action against the people of his own country is called the 2012 election.
The Latino community– whose votes he needs — has been angered by a program called Secure Communities (now newly revamped) which targeted for deportation illegals arrested for what are cunningly called “low level” crimes. In response to their demands, the White House announced yesterday that it will individually review 300,000 pending cases and toss out as many “low priority” cases as possible under a process coyly termed “prosecutorial discretion.” Last year nearly 400,000 illegals were deported.
White House officials said “low-priority cases would include illegal immigrants living in the U.S.for a long time with families, as well as undocumented (read illegal) students who had been brought to this country at a young age. Same-sex couples will be included in the definition of families.”
Swell.
So a red carpet has been thrown out to welcome those who thumb their noses at our laws — the longer the better — along with gifting the mega benefits of the Nightmarish DREAM ACT, which condones violation of Federal law – all to ensure the reelection of Barack Hussein Obama.
Arizona Governor Jan Brewer rightly calls this action backdoor amnesty. Read her statement here. It concludes with these bold words:
“Over the next 15 months, I’m certain we’ll hear a lot of talk from the Obama administration about its concern for border security. Those of us who truly care about the rule of law will remember the President’s actions of today. We need to remind President Obama that we elected a president that serves beneath the law and did not anoint a king that is above the law.”
