One of the problems I have with Democrats is that they can never find it within themselves to be honest with the American people. With few exceptions, such as former senator Zell Miller (D-GA), they all tend to talk out of both sides of their mouths. On the campaign trail they present themselves as if they are just as conservative as their Republican opponents, but once in office they take their marching orders from the most radical left wing special interests in the country. I’m tough on Democrats because they see politics, not as the means by which we establish government, as most conservatives and Republicans see it, but as an end in itself. Like their Asian and European cousins, who regularly riot in the streets, Democrats see politics as a game in which there are winners and losers and where losing is not an option, no matter what they must do to win – legal or illegal, moral or immoral, ethical or unethical, violent or non-violent. For Democrats, doing what’s best for the people is always less important than who holds the reins of power, and doing what’s best for their party always trumps what’s best for the country.
