17 Charged With Practicing Paranormal Medicine in Argentina Without a License & a Kilo of Coke

Seventeen Colombians were arrested on charges of practicing medicine without a license in Argentina, the official Telam news agency reported, citing police.

The arrests were made during searches of four buildings in Buenos Aires.

The suspects allegedly belonged to a center that provided people with treatments and medicines, the Metropolitan Police said.

The center advertised “master healers” who were “licensed in paranormal sciences,” an 11-month investigation found.

One of the suspects has been linked to an operation conducted several months ago that targeted a drug trafficking organization, police said.

Police seized more than a kilo of cocaine, chemicals, healing manuals, computers, documents and other items during the searches.
