Another act of violence, more WH hypocrisy

(Before It's News)

Descriptive terminology varies according to perpetrator

A crazed murderer killed six worshippers in a senseless massacre at a Sikh temple in suburban Milwaukee on Sunday. The gunman, 40-year-old Wade Michael Page, was shot and killed in an exchange of gunfire.  Three men including the police officer who brought the killer down, are in critical condition. According to this report from ABC News, authorities have identified Page as a “white supremacist” engaged in “domestic terrorism.”

The FBI’s designation of ‘domestic terrorism‘ — which was not applied to the horrific Aurora, Colorado theater shooting — implies a political agenda.

In the aftermath of the Colorado murder rampage, the far left blamed the NRA, saying the organization “is the best friend the killer’s instinct ever had.” Bill Moyers referred to the Second Amendment as a “cruel and deadly hoax.”

Though radicalized U.S. Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who was responsible for the November 2009 slaughter of 14 and wounding of 31 fellow soldiers in the Fort Hood massacre shouted “Allahu Akbar!” as he released a barrage of deadly bullets, his actions were not classified as ‘hate related.’  The jihadist Army psychiatrist, who described himself on his business card as a “soldier of Allah” is a Muslim, which allowed the Obama administration to configure the bloodbath as ‘workplace related.’ Hasan is still being held in Bell County jail in Beltan, Texas listed with “Offense Unknown.” His case has never gone to trial.

Soon after the Fort Hood attack, American born and educated imam Anwar al-Awlaki praised his friend Hasan for the shooting, encouraged other Muslims serving in the military to “follow in the footsteps of men like Nidal.” Calling him “a hero,” he said “Nidal killed soldiers who were about to be deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in order to kill Muslims.”

But politically correct silence rang out from the administration. In fact Obama waited days to specifically address the massacre, and steadfastly refused to acknowledge Islamic terrorism as having a role in the shooting. Even the LA Times, a newspaper known to favor the administration, took the Obama White House to task for what the newspaper calls “An implausible plan to fight terrorism through community outreach.”

Finally in the most muted terms and twisting the carnage to fit the administration’s pro-Muslim agenda, Janet Napolitano, Homeland INsecurity chieftain, took the same approach, saying “This was an individual who does not, obviously, represent the Muslim faith.”

Apparently the words “Allahu Akbar!” accompanying the deadly rampage meant nothing.

Yet, in 2009 Napolitano issued a bizarre Department of Homeland Security report warning about the possibility of violence by unnamed “right-wing extremists” concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty and singles out returning war veterans as particular threats. We covered it here.

The left can now point to this as proof of military — but never radicalized Muslim — instability. Page enlisted in the Army in 1992 and left in 1998 with a less-than-honorable discharge.
