Well, that was interesting. Apologies for my disappearance, but as you know I live way out here in the Sonoran desert of Arizona, little population but lots of cactii, lizards, and rattlensakes, and that means little choice regarding internet service. My ISP provides a wireless service from a broadcasting tower owned by the city of Casa Grande. They’ve been in a long dispute over a new contract, and Casa Grande has demanded a plan from them to move their equipment. Well, the ISP in their wisdom declined to provide said plan, and on Friday Casa Granda promptly cut off electric power to the tower, effectively killing the ISP, lol, and incidentally killing my connection with it. Apparently the lover’s spat is now over, as service is restored, but who knows, this is the Wild West after all. Apologies for the sudden absence, catch up time, so any posting will be sporadic until I’m back up to speed. Thanks for your understanding and patience. – CP
