Blog del Narco: 16 Year Old Boy Shot Dead at Grocery Store
A 16-year-old boy was killed yesterday morning in the municipal seat of Coyuca de Catalan, by gunmen who shot him with AK-47.
Official reports said the young man was identified as Domingo Delgado Renteria, 16, originally from the town of Agua Fria. This is the same municipality where he was engaged in motorcycle repair and had no immediate family, his father was in the United States and its Mom in Chilpancingo.
According to the report, the boy lived in the neighborhood of La Calera, home of the parents of his girlfriend who is a student of high school 8. It was reported that Domingo had just been sent to buy tomatoes at a store near them.
When he reached the grocery located on Benito Juarez Street, criminals arrived in a luxury vehicle and began shooting several times, inflicting at least 6 gunshot wounds.
The Public Ministry placed more than 15 shell casings at the scene, caliber 7.62.
Police forces moved to the point and confirmed that he died instantly. There were no details about the perpetrators or the route they used to escape.
The police report indicates that the events took place at 10 am. The prosecution moved to the place to start the preliminary investigation, and the young boys family was due to arrive in the evening.
