About This Crime

On Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at approximately 5:30 pm, a juvenile was approached by a male Hispanic in the 3500 block of W. 27th St. The offender asked the victim if he could talk to her and followed her into a nearby alley where he grabbed the victim by the arm and attempted to pull her toward a garage. The victim struggled free and ran to safety.

About The Offender

•Male Hispanic

•30-35 years of age

•5’05 – 5’07”, 130-150 lbs

•Olive complexion with a mustache

•Wearing a black hooded sweatshirt

•Dirty appearance

•Be aware of this situation and alert your neighbors

•Call 911 to report and suspicious persons, vehicles or activity in your neighborhood.

•Don’t let children walk alone. Identify safe havens along your child’s route to school such as businesses or trusted neighbors
