Real alternative parties that aren’t co-opted-and there aren’t many- can’t compete with the mega-budgets of big corporations.For example, the oil industry alone gave at least $750 million to Romney this year and paid off a lot of big people in the process of making it happen.Grass roots isn’t going to compete with that.That’s why I think key is the people need to break their financial dependence on the system then it has no more power over them.That’s what I personally have striven for.
