Good Samaritan helps same man 8 years later

AUBURN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Gerald Gronowski may owe his life to the intervention of a good Samaritan, the same one who helped him once before eight years ago.
Saturday night, Christopher Manacci of Chagrin Falls stopped to help Gronowski, whose van was pulled off on Washington Street with a flat tire. Moments after Manacci parked his 2006 Lexus behind Gronowski's van, which was pulling a boat on a trailer, a pickup rammed Manacci's car and then skidded on two wheels past the two men and Gronowski's son, missing them by 3 feet.
