Lockwood Ave (NW corner of N. Lockwood & W. Schubert) and end at Falconer Elementary School Astro Turf – 3020 N. Lamon Ave. (Astro Turf is located approximately 4936 W. Wellington Ave).
Mayor Emanuel and Alderman Suarez remain steadfast in their commitment to end violence as they rally together with community groups throughout the year. Suarez explained, “School has begun and students again are pressured by negative peer influences in and around school. We need to take an active role and encourage youth, parents and teachers to stand firm against violence.”
Students and parents from local schools, community and church leaders, along with local residents will join Mayor Emanuel and Alderman Suarez for the march.
