(Before It's News)

Whenever we raise concerns about “radical” Muslims (i.e. Muslims who believe in following Muhammad’s violent teachings), a host of reporters and politicians immediately remind us of all the “moderate” Muslims (i.e. Muslims who follow Muhammad’s command to pray, but not his command to violently subjugate non-Muslims). Since there are so many “moderate” Muslims in the world, we shouldn’t be at all concerned about the “radical” Muslims.

But once again, reality shows us the problem with this reasoning. When a “moderate” Muslims says, “Hey, maybe we shouldn’t be throwing such a massive tantrum over a boring little film that no one would be watching if we weren’t drawing attention to it,” his “radical” counterparts cry, “Kill the blasphemer!”

Police, of course, can’t defend the “blasphemer,” because then they’ll be labeled “blasphemers” as well. So they’re forced to obey the violent mob.

And that’s why we can’t ignore Muhammad’s teachings. Violent mobs often find a way to get their way. Just ask the Obama Administration, the United Nations, or the media.

FoxNews–Pakistani officials say they have opened an investigation into a businessman who has been accused of blasphemy after refusing to join protests over an anti-Islam video and allegedly trying to convince others also not to take part.

Police officer Munir Abbasi says that hundreds of protesters in the city of Hyderabad who rallied against the film that mocks the Prophet Muhammad demanded businessman Haji Nasrullah Khan shut his shops in solidarity.

When Khan refused, one of his tenants said his decision supported the film.

City police chief Fareed Jan said Wednesday the protesters claim Khan insulted the Prophet.

Jan said there’s no evidence to suggest this happened and said police were pressured by the mob to open the case.

Blasphemy is punishable by life in prison or death in Pakistan. (Source)
