Quartzsite Elementary School held their 9/11 assembly this morning. Local Boy Scout Troop 116 performed the Flag Raising Ceremony while students respectfully watched. Superintendent Jacque Price explained the significance of the day to the students sharing about the horrible events of September 11, 2001.  ”The nation was changed that day,” she said. Many parents attended today’s ceremony.
