Quartzsite Town council meeting scheduled for Tues. Sept. 11

Quartzsite Town Council will hold their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 11, 2013. Town Attorney, Martin Brannan has not approved an item on the agenda. Item 8 is to approve hiring of an Interim Town Manager and replacing Terry Frausto. Frausto moved became Acting Town Manager after Alex Taft was placed on paid administrative leave on August 28, 2012.

Brannan advised the council that Item 8 as presented was illegal and they have no authority to act. He added a statement to the agenda explaining his opinion.
