The 50-year-old singer theorized that the tumor, known as a meningioma, was caused by her mobile phone, since it was located on the side of her head where she normally held her phone. “I say it’s in my cell phone area,” she said on the show. “And there are no doctors that will confirm that.” Last year, Crow admitted that she was worried she had an early onset of Alzheimer’s disease due to memory problems, such as forgetting lyrics to her hit songs while on stage. “I felt like I was starting to become mushy,” she said. “A couple of times I’d space on stage, forgot the lyrics and things, so I ended up getting a teleprompter.” “I do have the theory that it’s possible that it’s related to that because in those early, early days when I was promoting my first record, I did hours of phoners on the old archaic cell phones,” she said …. http://www.boston.com
