BLUEBERRY

The Western meets Carlos Castanada in Blueberry, a visionary tour de force starring Vincent Cassel as world-weary marshal Mike Blueberry, in the Wild West of the 1870s. Initiated into their ‘magic’ by the Indians as a teenager, Mike’s upbringing comes in handy when a group of greedy adventurers cross into Indian territory in search of gold.

Caught between his lawman’s duty and loyalty to his adopted people, Mike tries to maintain the fine balance between two civilizations, at the risk of not belonging anywhere.

Everything changes the day a mysterious killer, Wally Blount, transforms the town into an inferno and brings up memories of Mike’s past. Blount is looking for an Indian “treasure”—the secret of their magic.

Assisted by Runi, the shaman “brother” he grew up with, Blueberry, must face Blount. However, in the heart of the sacred mountains, he also has to fight with his own demons to gain his freedom…
