The five police commanders of the municipality of Lerdo, Durango, have said that they were kidnapped and tortured.
At a press conference, the officers showed traces of violence and said they were forced to drink the alcohol and were to left the front of the pool hall /bar where they were found.
Last Monday, the police chief of Lerdo, Andres Perez and deputy Balderas Operating, Luis Manuel Torres Gel, were reported missing along with three officer bodyguards.
They were last seen after a Red Cross event in the capital of Durango.
Authorities immediately mounted an operation to find the missing officers involving federal forces.
On Wednesday morning, all 5 men were found in a bar in the neighborhood of Tierra Blanca. They were armed and had alcohol on their breath.
