Blog del Narco: Knights of Templar Threaten to Move on Vulnerable Zeta Controlled Nuevo Leon
State spokesman Jorge Domene, confirmed the presence of some blankets announcing the presence of the criminal organization The Knights Templar in Nuevo Leon.
These blankets appeared in different parts of the city and they warned of threats against the Zetas, who have fought the Gulf Cartel and its affiliated groups for control of the city since 2010. Authorities are envisioning a resurgence of violence.
” We know that all these events are happening, like the fall of Mr. Lazcano, it always generates movements, temptations of other groups to want to venture into other territories. We need to always be on alert to monitor and be communicating with federal forces and be sensing this possibility.

Authorities further stated that although this criminal group is originally from Michoacan, and have contained their criminal activities to the state. Knights Templar is not active in the state yet as only the traditional Zetas and the Gulf cartels are currently active, they are always vigilant to prevent the incursion of this Cartel into the area” he said.
