Okay skeptics, regarding the Illinois lottery and Obama?
I have posted a question that some doubt, and want proof. I will enclose a link for you, so that you do not take my word for it. The winning number of the Illinois lottery the day after Obama was elected, was 666. My question is, what do YOU think of this, in context with Biblical prophecy and current events? For proof, go to http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/lot…
It is a little eerie that 666 came up specifically in his state. I’m not superstitious, bu it’s kind of like a portent of bad things to come, isn’t it?
Here is a true story: many years ago I was walking down Oak Street in Chicago. As I rounded the corner there was a seedy, decrepit Democratic Party office. For the first time in my life I saw an Obama election poster. I guess he was running for State Senate. For some reason, this poster just transfixed me. I was drawn to it, and I got a really bad feeling. Really bad. But being an eternal optimist, I just brushed off these creepy feelings because I figured, “He’s just some guy running for state office. What could possibly go wrong?”
My thought is that out of the billions of 3-digit sequences of numbers that get randomly generated every day, it is inevitable that some of them will be 666.
The Illinois lottery included those three numbers. The lotteries of 40-something other states probably did not. If ALL states had the same sequence, then you would have something remarkable. As it is, all you’ve got is a reminder of the fact that because millions of random numbers get generated every day, some of them are going to include “666.”
I don’t believe that Obama is going to physically carry out things described in Revelation, but I do believe that him getting elected will lead to more proof of things that are prophesied. Our economic situation is definitely a sign, for China and France have been toying with the idea of pushing for a world currency–that is described in Revelation. Looking at Obama being elected as president alone doesn’t provide much insight as to what’s coming, but looking at what is going on in the world as a whole, Obama included, then things start to get a little scary.
How many times have various pick three games in various states come up 6-6-6 while George Bush has been President? How about similar games in Arizona since McCain became Senator?
Particularly since bible scholars tell us that 666 is not, in fact the “number of the beast” (the earliest known version of Revelations has the number as 616), I gotta ask -
Regina;
I am wondering if there is something in the air or water over the last 48 hours as it seems to be ridiculous question day. Have you ever read the section of the bible dealing with the concept of 666. Give it a TRY there is no connection to lo terry numbers and Barack Obama< UNLESS THOSE WERE THE NUMBERS HE bet on, but he isn’t the antichrist either.
Once at work one of the cleaning ladies, not the brightest bulb, got all upset at a page she got. I was working the front desk. She came up to me all alarmed to show me she received a page…you guessed it…”666.”
BOY was she upset. “It’s the Devil’s #” she exclaims. I told her to relax, that someone was just having fun with her ’cause they knew she’s freak out. But she just stayed upset about it all afternoon.
I used this as an example to my 8 yr old that not everyone is together enough to do every job. We all have are abilities and uh, I.Q. (No, I wasn’t mean about it when I told him this either. That lady can’t help it if she’s a dim bulb. She didn’t know I thought it was hilarious.)
Can you say Superstition?
Can you say Medieval mindset?
Can you say ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha…?
Rhetorical questions can be an answer. But to give you one in a sentence not ending in a question mark–I think your post is ridiculous. There is no supernatural meaning behind coincidental events.
666 was code for Nero. Revelation was an allegory about Nero’s Rome. I can’t believe anyone would think it’s seriously a prophecy … as if anyone can predict the future. Do you really believe all that stuff about the four horsemen and dragons coming out of the sea? I mean, get a grip.
Man, the Obamanites have really been harsh with this accountable subject. But most do not believe in the Bible nor God, so their opinions do not count. It was an incredible coincidence.
Those that have no faith have no afterlife. Too bad for them!
And they say we are mean spirited……
We do not need Bible prophecies or lottery tickets to tell us that Obama is evil. He supports infanticide. That should be enough for anyone. But the American people are corrupt and voted for him. They will get exactly what they deserve.
WOW its amazing how someone can take to unrelated actions and come up with the fairytale of biblical prophecy
did you write in Nostradamus for prez also
If Republicans weren’t worried about the Maryland Lottery being 666 on Election Day 1980 [Ronald Wilson Reagan, six letters 3 times] then we won’t worry about this.
I’d be more concerned (or maybe less!) if the world had ended the last time the doom mongers prophesied that it would just a few years ago. Re. Biblical prophecy I prefer Harry Potter..
Trolls are nervous? Quick, post a Yahoo Answers thread from four years ago. Step 3: Profit?
So did you actually watch the second debate?

Sorry, I meant Romney and Obama? Did you get confused and think it was a debate between Obama and Crowley?
“Crowley” like “Aleister Crowley” antichrist Obama antichrist lottery gay robot antichrist amirite?
they matched up to take Romney down and he asked them what Obama had said at the Rose Garden.
That was vintage.
He really mauled the two of them.
