Born on May 3, 1958, Chad C. Meek is a fourth generation Californian whose broad range of interests have given him a diverse resume that includes oil exploration, precious metals mining, renewable energy education and astrology.
Raised in the California desert, in the shadow of Giant Rock and his famous E.T. contactee uncle George Van Tassel, Chad had alien abduction experiences of his own that have led to a passion for UFOs, the occult and metaphysical studies that has carried to the present day.
In the early 80s Chad formed Petromek Nevada, an oil exploration and development company. Petromek was reorganized as Clarity Resources Inc. in the early 90s, Clarity's focus being gold and silver development and mining operations. His career as a resource entrepreneur has taken him across the globe to the Nevada desert, Bosnia, the Arctic Circle, and the jungles of Central America.
In 2005 Chad founded the Midwestern Institute of Energy in Tariko, Missouri, an ambitious project located on a 56 acre campus, whose focus was renewable energy higher education. Today Chad continues to manage Clarity Resources, practice astrology and nurture the remarkable legacy of his uncle.
