Dr. Eben Alexander fell into a coma during the fall of 2008 during a bout with meningitis, and when he returned from the brink of death he brought with him tales of a life-changing experience within the pearly gates
of Heaven. “According to current medical understandings of the brain and mind,
there is absolutely no way that I could have experienced even a dim and limited
consciousness during my time in the coma, much less the hyper-vivid and
completely coherent odyssey I underwent”, explains Dr. Alexander in the current
issue of the national newsmagazine Newsweek.

shimmering beings arced across the sky, leaving long, streamer like lines

beings through a method that transcended native language as he heard the words “You
are loved and cherished, dearly, forever”, “You have nothing to fear”, and “There
is nothing you can do wrong”.
