Life in Jail For Stealing Socks? California’s Prop 36 to Decide Future of Three Strikes Law

I understand societies frustration with crime today especially ;pointless violent crime against children or the elderly however the California three strikes law is not being used anywhere near how it was intended or written when on the ballots. first of all did you know that every year the legislature votes in new crimes as strikes? not many people do…You can get the three strikes and NEVER take a life! Very few of the thousands serving a 3 strike sentence have ever taken a life! Yet this law takes thousands of lives. The politicians make Billions off of this law. Where’s your money for supporting the taking of all these lives? Neither are they sexual predators. That is how the politicians scare you into helping them make all that money!
