Christians: Do you get Obama Antichrist Vibes?

When I heard of Obama at very first, I thought it would be great to have the first African American in the White House… but after I saw Obama and the way he speaks, and looks, and acts…just all too strikingly similar to how the Antichrist will be. And check this out:
According to scriptures, in the very end there will be a place called “Babylon” and all the scriptures imply that this place is the modern day Babylon or AMERICA. The Antichrist will be the “King of Babylon.” This is what scriptures say:
1) He will be the King of Babylon
2) He will be different from the previous Kings who proceeded him
3) He will try to CHANGE the set times and laws
3) Charismatic, intelligent, boastful, full of pride
4) He has a mouth that speaks great things
5) He enters peaceably
6) He will use “flatteries” and will be persuasive
7) Has a more stern look than his contenders
8) He will be arrogant
9) His # is 666 (Obamas Bday is the 216th day of the year or 6x6x6, also the winning lottery # in his home state was 666 the very next day after he was elected)
10) He is referred to as “The Lawless one” (The Government gave Obama the Code name “renegade” which by definition is “one who is lawless”)
11) Luke 10:18 is about the End times spoken by Jesus (who speaks Hebrew) and states “I saw Satan as Lightning from Heaven” (Lightning translates in Hebrew to Bara(ck)q, and “the heights of Heaven” translates to Bama, “I saw Satan as Barack Bama”)

These are too many coincidences that are too close for comfort for me as a Christian! Does anyone else see these things? All the rest of the Antichrist scriptures wont be fulfilled until the World is united financially somehow!

I feel bad for all of you who are all wired up on this country being run by satan. You do know that Satans kingdom (Babylon, or America) will be completely destroyed and everyone killed? All hes trying to do is steal the souls that arent saved, and kill the flesh of the souls that are saved. And after he steals Americas, shes going down, down, down, going to surrender bc she will be turned into a dessert and destroyed like Sodom. (Jeremiah 50, 51, and Isaiah 47,48)

  • Interesting, but I really think based on Scripture that the antichrist will be a religious/political leader from Rome. It’s just kind of tricky to figure out, because they don’t have emperors anymore…hmm…

    Obama doesn’t scare me, but his followers DO. I can’t believe some of the stuff I have heard people say.

    He doesnt suite the time line though.
    He interferes with the last generation sequence represented by the seals.
    And St. Malicis prophesy.
    We wont be raptured before the peace treaty, so if he does it then hes the antichrist

  • Okay. Lets go through these items one by one.

    1) He will be the King of Babylon

    Comment: Obama is not a King he is a president. It is quite different. He does not have a lot to do with Babylon except as a foreign affairs issue not as a King.

    2) He will be different from the previous Kings who proceeded him

    Comment: every leader is different from every previous leader. When we experience a change of government the people often vote for someone who is very different because they are very different, it happens often.

    3) He will try to CHANGE the set times and laws

    Comment: This is his job. People want things changed. Nam me a world leader who is working to keep everything exactly the same.

    3) Charismatic, intelligent, boastful, full of pride

    These are charactrristics of many leaders. A leader has to have a bit of an over supply of confidence to get there and these characteristics go hand in hand with that. I must say form here in Australia Obama does not seem particularly boastful to me. but certainly characteristic.

    4) He has a mouth that speaks great things

    What leader doesn’t. They give people a vision. This is good leadership. Again name me a world leader who doesn’t do this.

    5) He enters peaceably

    Well, I hope so in the USA in 2008/9 I would not expect the government to be taken by a revolution.

    6) He will use “flatteries” and will be persuasive
    Who doesn’t? Does he do this more than other people? I haven’t seen evidence of that.

    7) Has a more stern look than his contenders
    Well George Bush did look like a fun guy. He always looked to me like he was ready to crack a joke. But haven’t there been countless stern looking Presidents? Nixon looked positively scarey!

    8) He will be arrogant

    Again goes hand in hand with being a leader. He does not seem particularly arrogant to me and it is really a subjective measure anyway. If you don’t like his politics he probably seems extremely arrogant.

    9) His # is 666 (Obamas Bday is the 216th day of the year or 6x6x6, also the winning lottery # in his home state was 666 the very next day after he was elected)

    Now this is just silly! Look into anyone’s life and you will find somewhere that the number 666 comes up somewhere at some time. If he was the 666th president or some other in your face number you may have an arguement but not these obscure references to 666 that you have dug up from who knows where.

    My dictionary defines renegade as someone who deserts one cause or party for another. That’s not the same as lawless. I am not even sure why the former government would have applied that name to Obama. Are you sure they did? Even if they did it does not mean lawless so I wouldn’t read anything into that.

    Again, are you sure of these translations? Or is it something someone told you. Even if they are true translations the fat that two particular words can be construed to sound like a guys name does not prove anything.

    I am also a Christian. I do not mean to be condescending which is why I have gone through your arguments point by point. But I want you to seriously consider your way of thinking. Our God in his wisdom and grace has given you and I both the most fabulous thinking machines (our brains) and a free will to go with it. As Christians it is our duty and our honor to use our brains and scrutinize everything that comes our way and not to get lazy in this. I can see that you are familiar with the scriptures. Read them first on face value and understand them as they are. Do not try to force them to say something they do not. If you are confused about the scriptures ask someone who knows like your paster or priest and pray about it. Ask God to show you how to understand. Do not fall for cheap tricks as you have outlined.

    When the antiChrist comes you will know it. You won’t have to look for obscure references. Please don’t spread this stuff around it scares people and makes Christians look silly.

      Obama is not a King. So no US president can ever be the Antichrist. They would have to be part of a monarchy.

      A genuine prophecy would have probably have wrapped things up with something specific by saying. “And the antichrist will the american president Barack Obama in 2009″

      Rather than vague description who could fit many people.

      There are those who thought Lincoln was the Antichrist. Turns out he wasn’t.

      Typical of Americans to give America some Biblical importance.
