It is painfully apparent from this recent general election that the U.S. as we have known it (particularly for those of us 50 years and older) is over. I don’t believe the country has been this divided since the Civil War. It is my deep concern that we could see another (un)Civil War in our lifetime if we as a nation fail to recapture devotion to the founding principals of our country, particularly as embodied in our Constitution. Furthermore, it is essential that the traditional values of God, Country, and Family be recovered from the apathy and moral corruption of the People. And it is the People who have allowed this division and decline to progress decade after decade of political malfeasance not only in the capital, but throughout this land.

It is my strong belief that people get the government they deserve.
