A 3-week-old kitten was rescued after being stuck inside a Lincoln statue at the Presidents Hall of Fame in Clermont, Fla. The feline was later named “Abe.”
A 3-week-old kitten stuck inside an Abraham Lincoln statue for three days was rescued by firefighters over the weekend.
The tiny kitten got stuck inside the Lincoln statue at the Presidents Hall of Fame in Clermont, Fla., reported WKMG, a CBS affiliate that recorded the live rescue. “I dont see how a little kitten, a 3-week old kitten could have gotten up there,” Daniel Davis of the Humane Society told the station. “It couldn’t crawl up there.”
