(Before It's News)

Is the United States declining as a world power?   Are we heading for the downfall of America soon?  Regrettably I feel the answer is a yes.  Although I do feel that the United States will not collapse entirely, there are numerous signs pointing to the gradual decline of American society.  Numerous problems affecting the nation include the economy, loss of jobs, a split and non-cooperation between the political parties and even petitions for states to actually succeed from the United States.  Below is a brief look at each of these issues.

Economy and Loss of Jobs –  Let’s face it, we are in a recession and have been for several years now.  Of course, the government doesn’t acknowledge this and actually claims that the economy is gradually improving but high unemployment rates, lack of jobs, and a stagnant housing market are signs that the economy is seriously in decline still.  Add the issue of products being produced overseas cheaply and the American people constantly purchasing these items and we can see why jobs are not being added here in America.  But perhaps most disturbing is that our government still grants tax breaks to companies that are sending jobs overseas.
