Anonymous Fires Teh Lazer
In an attempt to raise awareness, members of the Canadian Anonymous hacktivist group have launched #OpPartyCrasher, an operation comprised of a number of different campaigns including: twitter bombs, mass emails, and DDoS. The group appears to have targeted the websites of Minister of Public Safety Vic Towes (November 3, 2012) and Minister of Finance Jim Flaherty (November 4, 2012) via distributed denial of service (DDoS) taking both sites down for several hours. See images below. The latest Pastebay post indicates that City of Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts is next on the list.
