Petraeus is stepping down because – shocker – he had an affair. It’s a dumb reason to step down, but there it is.
He’s not DEAD, so it’s not going to stop him from having to testify in court if it comes down to that.

please cite your sources for this comment. i’m not a huge beck fan and i don’t agree with everything he says, but i do know that he left fox news IN ORDER to say the things he really wants to say. so your comment does not jive much with the steps he has taken. again, please give some evidence as to why you say this, and not some foul mouth spewing insults because you have nothing better to say. thank you.

….Anything new here other than Glenn Beck brand of stink into the flurry? How can you blackmail someone who is just as willing to admit to the dirt? If one is willing to go that far, and he happens to be the head of the CIA, why not use that humility to turn the tables on any possible blackmail attempts which would be criminal on so many levels. What would be more honorable and heroic than admitting to whatever wrongdoing in public for the sake of defending nation of said undue influence of potential blackmail while exposing perpetrator. It’s a real simple trump to play. The sordid details here simply more distraction, none of what we are getting holds water, yet our consumer and probably tax dollars go into supporting pigs like this blabbering on about whatever dividing or misdirecting propaganda poured in the trough. That he “predicted” this with no coherent line of thought does not add to his credibility as much it represents his willing participation in this sham before the story even broke.
The only reason to watch this guy from time to time is to see how stupid the powers that be are portraying those heretics would dare seek “alternative media,” which, mind you, is more and more rank with strategic disinformation everyday. This mid-east sh*t is getting thick, so many layers we won’t know what hit us till ten years later if that. If it’s “Must See” theater, give us better actors…not entertained
I see the sock puppets are out in full force to discredit a frankly interesting piecing together of the known facts.
I don’t particularly care for Glen Beck – this is the first time I’ve watched what he said in many months. But to anyone with a brain it’s obvious that this is a cover-up to discredit Petraeus and have him take the fall for the Obama administration’s actions (or lack thereof) in Benghazi. That they’re throwing lurid sex details involving two women in our faces shows how hard they’re trying to distract the public from the important details and putting some obvious facts together to form a conclusion.
The Obama administration allowed those men to die in Benghazi to cover up clandestine operations there, and Petraeus was made to take the fall. First the Fast and Furious, now this. Will America ever wake up and see who and what this president is?
Becks right on almost all points,but the affair has nothing to do with the step down.That is just a cover made up by the Obama administration for the idiots that get their news from the T.V. They have something big time on him,or they threatened his family.I would not expect him to talk.If the U.S.A. knew what really happened at Benghazi, Obama would be impeached and charged with treason.That is what this is really about.
My opinion.
I think Petraeus will crack the case wide open. He will tell the truth. WHO SAID DON’T SEND HELP?? Well, someone did. He will say who ordered the rest of the people what to say or either told them wrong intentionally. As for the story about the women, strange indeed. A setup? Maybe. He needed to resign before he comes clean on what really happened. After all, won’t be a good place to work anymore.
Does anyone except those equally guilty really care about what Petraeus does with his personal life. Jeeeeeeze
