Honoring Our Veterans (Parade route included)
This day is specifically set aside to thank our veterans and their families, who have given so much to protect our many freedoms
Today’s Veterans Day Parade begins at 11:00 a.m. The map and route are available here.
The 2-mile long parade will feature more than 100 entries, including historic military vehicles; more than 50 Veterans Service Organizations such as the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, 12 marching units, color guards; canine and equestrian units-including the reenactment of the Buffalo Soldiers; 19 floats; and six giant helium balloons; novelty units and 12 bands.
In addition, this year’s parade is an Arizona Centennial Event — celebrating with our great state as it turns 100 years old in 2012.
