Funny how the experts in the Assumption Parish sinkhole disaster in Louisiana just made the request to begin testing within evacuees’ homes to determine if methane is accumulating “out of an abundance of caution,” though they expect the threat to be low. Could this really be a melting methane hydrate bubble underneath the well site of the BP Macondo Well that is now expanding through the various aquifers that form the Mississippi Valley? If so, then they had better stop the double talk and give the residents some real answers to their questions…look at the destruction wrought by just a small gas explosion. I suppose weeks of testing will determine no cause like the explosion in Minden, Louisiana that was supposedly a weapons depot ignited by a meteor strike. No real explanation other than that and it came 14 hours after the explosion occurred.

Methane? How about Hellfire missiles. These explosions were caused by high explosives! A methane explosion will blow the walls out, but the walls remain largely intact. These houses were blown to bits, shredded, nothing left but little bits and pieces. A methane explosion will not do that. Nor propane.

Imagine lighting up a smoke and then boom, you take flight. IT would be one way to kick the habit.
