General David Petraeus, U.S. Army, Retired, then the DCI (Director of Central Intelligence) and Director of the CIA, “fell on his sword” (killed his own career) in order to protect Obama from utter ruin. Petraeus resigned, not from his own affair’s causing tongues to wag, but because President Obama may have lied to the world regarding the attack on the U.S. embassy. Worse, exclusive evidence now available suggests the attack was known of, in advance, by the government!

The House Select Committee on Intelligence vowed not to be thwarted by the familiar political act of abrupt resignation as distraction. It decreed that “if it took sending the House Master at Arms, to drag Petraeus back kicking and screaming,” then that’s how it was going to be. And it was.
