Petraeus to run for Prime Minister of Canada
At least if Canadian journalist Matt Fisher has his way.
Fisher has written a love letter to the disgraced General that is beyond cringe-worthy.
Petraeus was the “most brilliant and celebrated warrior of his generation.”
“A polished operator…”
“brilliant…”
“affable…”
“brilliant…”
“unflappable…”
“a leader of singular intellect…”
And of course brilliant!
Apparently Fisher is star-struck because he personally met Petraeus three times.
Needless to say, he found him brilliant.
Fisher goes on to speculate about a Presidential bid in 2016.
Sorry Matt; Chris Christie’s got that one in the bag.
By then Petraeus will be remembered as the guy who presided over America’s retreats from both Iraq and Afghanistan, and who got caught with his pants down when they gave him a desk job.
Not a lot in that resume to capture the imagination of the American voter.
