It looks to have a permanant smile. Those might of been its arms? I have no Idea! The first photo is the original enhanced. I will post the raw original as soon as I locate it. :Update: Raw Original located at bottom of page.
The scattered rock and the huge hole might of been an explosion of some sort. This aids in the finding of this weird object. No colors have been added. Only exposure and contrast to improve color and clarity.
Most probably think this is a hoax, Its not. That is how the enhancement ended up. I started over several times to make sure it came up the same as it did at first. It did come up looking the same way each time. So therfore, I believe we are looking at something very odd. A Robot? I guess we will never know. RPeternell
The arrow all the way to the right, looks to point to a hollow neck hole. ( above the white object ) This just freaks me out!
Is that a voice box below its mouth? There seems to be a black pointed object at the very top of its head.
A few points to ponder. The way the top point of the head is in line with the bottom inner tube.
At the bottom, It appears to have a silver inner tube with an outer platinum like casing.
The upper part of the mouth seems to contour like a beak.
Just above the beak, their appears to be a squashed nose along with a missing eye.
It seems that if you were to pull the nose back out, the bent metal under the existing eye would straighten out.
The colored cap on its head appears to have the same colors all in a row.
It seems to me that you may be able to unscrew the pointed tip on top of its head, pull off the colored cap and then slide the top part of its metal head off. ( In able to adjust or install other hardware ) Haha, I don’t know.
Its all to weird. Please comment. R Peternell.

Interesting. I think that if they had anything “suspicious” in any photo, they would not allow it “out”.
i read this article and there is no reference to a nasa/jpl pia image, also there is no reference to who made robotmassacre.jpg, and it looks heavily photoshopped.
Most of us know that NASA air brushes out Mars. So this is just the reversal of their procedure.
All Nasa images are heavily manipulated by photoshop or other software.
