WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. electrical grid is vulnerable to terrorist attacks, including cyber strikes, that could cause far more damage than those associated with natural disasters such as Hurricane Sandy, according to a report released on Wednesday.
Without urgent attention to security, the United States risks having large parts of the country blacked out “for weeks or months” at a cost of billions of dollars, the non-partisan National Research Council said.

YEA right,my buddy works for the power company here and he said something that ain’t funny is going on? they fired all the workers at the power plants and have only kept on the line men and a few management people and he said even there new at the power plants,SO WHATS going on ,looks like they don’t want anyone around who might be able to turn the power back on,ding,ding,ding,ding,DANGER ,DANGER WILL ROBINSON……………………
