Objects to school district’s ‘electronic concentration camp’

Chip32

A student in a Texas school district has been told she is to be expelled for refusing to wear a student ID badge that essentially places her in an “electronic concentration camp.”

“Regimes in the past have always started with the schools, where they develop a compliant citizenry,” John Whitehead, president of the Rutherford Institute said. “They are getting students used to living in a total surveillance state where there will be no privacy, wherever you go and whatever you text or email will be watched by the government. This is where everything is headed.”

WND previously reported on the case of Andrea Hernandez, a student at John Jay High School in the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas. This year, the school implemented a new program requiring students to wear badges containing an RFID chip, which would be used to track them anywhere they went, including the restrooms. Hernandez refused to wear the chip, citing privacy and religious issues.

The RFID card is part of a pilot program called the “Student Locator Project” at John Jay and Anson Jones Middle School, which the district hopes to expand to cover all of its 112 schools, with a total student population of 100,000.

  • Whats the problem here, as long as the administration and faculty are willing to subject themselves tothe same requirements so that their activities and whereabouts may also be tracked by the students…should be a non-issue… otherwise screw those big brother imbeciles.

    • it’s incumbent upon each and every student to say no to this. this is brainwashing, akin to a form of pavlovian conditioning and should NEVER be tolerated by students, parents or teachers!
A student walkout should be organized and the students should NOT return UNTIL these chips are banned permanently!
The school system gets paid for every student they can show is in attendance, if there are no attending students, there is no $$$.. the school system will capitulate in the end if the students/parents stand their ground!!

  • A single answer would be to put it on the collar of the school cat…. This works on the same principal of putting a police tracker you found on your car on rear of a local bus.
But the best way would be for each student to put badge in a big box then the students take one at random to wear each day different student wears different badge maybe even changing with somebody at random when passing in the corridor during day. This will make the system unworkable and useless. There are many variations on this which cant be prevented unless the chip is implanted.

  • I live in TEXAS & this is BS!

PARENTS TELL THEM TO GO TO HELL & TEACH YOUR KIDS IF YOU HAVE TO!

  • Put the badge in the microwave. As long as it is not in there too long the chip will be disabled and the badge will be intact.Get all the kids to do this and the loss of money implementing the plan will look bad to the taxpayer thus stopping the program.
