True Energy Independence Begins At Home. America’s natural resources should serve the needs of Americans first. As our country is about to become the #1 natural gas and oil producer in the world, we need to make sure that America’s economic future is priority one. Don’t let global corporate interests hijack our natural resources leaving us and our economy defenseless. Haven’t we been through enough wars and spent enough national treasure in trying to guarantee that our country’s energy needs be met?

hey there. we need 25,000 signatures in 30 days to assure that the white house will consider this petition. As the United States becomes the #1 oil and gas extractor in the world we need to make sure global interests don’t rob us blind. Americans should be guaranteed ample domestic energy before the energy giants begin shipping our natural resources, our national treasure off shore to the highest bidders.
without a strong bank of domestic energy our future economy and national defense is at stake. when they opened up the alsakan oil fields all of that petroleum was supposed to be kept here and used here. within a decade the politicians and oil companies compromised that promise and we’ve been shipping our alaskan crude to asia ever since. true energy independence means keeping the energy you need before selling it off to global markets.
