A Mystery object was tracked on radar over the entire country on the night on Janurary 19th, 2012.  German authorities scrambled jet fighters and put airports on alert as the object was going at incredible speeds and appeared and disappeared on radar before disappearing for good oddly enough over a US Air Fore base.  Germany’s air traffic authority isnow compiling an official investigation into the UFO sighting. ”We have ruled out all the conventional possibilities – it is a mystery,” said DFS spokesman Axel Raab. Dozens of people reported the sightings. Raab said: “When it vanished from the radar we believed that whatever it was had crashed – but there was no crash site to be seen.

 

“It is a complete mystery. It confused radar operators because it kept flicking on and off the screen as if some of the time it just wasn’t there. Then it simply vanished completely into thin air.”

This is a landmark case for Ufologists.  The government documented this UFO on radar and is now doing an official investigation into the sightingscomplete with witnesses, civilian and military.  Hopefully the authorities in Ufology will gain access to this case and more will come from it as they learn more.  Stay tuned tothisone folks.  -Mort
