comment from youtube – “I never read this book but the film delivered its message at least to me. I think it is very much like 1984 in that it is just another way of achieving servitude. You can have slaves that are beaten or you can have slaves where all their wishes are met only as long as they obey. This shows the danger of those people promising us utopia or driving us into fear and paranoia to the point of giving freedom for security.”
