These petitions will go nowhere but in the dustbin. Since when does the Whitehouse follow rules, even it’s own? These petitions are being started by people wthout any legislative backing. However, the media is going to hype in order to further promote the idea that this country is so divided that a civil war is inevitable. Gee, I wonder if that will be the catalyst for the government to start initializing denfense of government measures? Remember, the government agencies did purchase a hell of a lot of hollow point bullet, gotta use them somewhere, right?
I doubt anything will ever become of it other than the IRS showing up on the doorstep of those who signed the petition.. Out of the blue they’ll probably be audited 4 times each. The Whitehouse is famous for not answering questions that matter, seriously doubt that they will answer anything from the American people.. They think the Government is built from the top down and not from We The People.
i see this going a few different ways
1. they disregard this altogether
2. they simply make a list of dissenters who signed this for future harassment/imprisonment/torture
3. they actually GRANT secession ONLY to classify said states as enemies, and then attack with the full brunt of the FEDS.
keep in mind that tyrants (especially the obama administration) ALWAYS want a violent physical conflict. its the only language they speak. and chances are the states would be crushed because people are NOT ORGANIZED like they are.
Spielberg, Daniel Day Lewis and Hollywood can all spin on it! That’s justification enough!
These petitions are likely more intended as a vote of no confidence in the Obama administration than any real attempt to secede from the union.
A whole lot of people are mad at the obvious fraud in this election that bought the Obamanation his second term in office. Many precincts reporting turnout in excess of 100% of population (one showed 145%) when normal turnout is in the range of 50-75% of registered voters. Over 100 precincts in the Cleveland area reporting four or less votes for Romney, over 25 of them showing zero votes for Romney. 17 million ballots missing or not processed. Ballots from the military being invalidated. Rigged voting machines (it only takes about 100 lines of malicious code to make a voting machine do whatever you want it to do, and less than a minute to install that code, and it can spread as a virus from one machine to another). With the state of corruption our government is in now, it would not surprise me to see all of this swept under the rug and nothing done about it.
it would serve the people far better to have addressed the election fraud issue directly in petitions, rather than secession. had these people from each state petitoned the government in great numbers to acknowledge, address , and correct the blatant voter irregularities.. the anomalies.. the fraud.. then, that would be the msm headlines today – bringing to the forefront for all to see, the grand theft. that, coupled with holding their own district representatives accountable might not only put this issue under the microscope, but also potentially effect real change in the process, as the entire world’s attention would have been drawn to this. instead, the rest of america and the world are witnessing what amounts to as nothing more than an expression of ignorance, an admission of idiocy among the american people while the real problems get swept under the rug, which is what we have now presented to the world at large.
so.. as all should clearly see, this secession movement is absolutely wrongheaded.. a diversion tactic.. drawing focus away from the one thing that should be gaining prominence. sheer lunacy and ignorance reigns supreme.. while the real sheep of this country steer themselves and the rest of us right along with them, off the proverbial cliff. thanks a lot.
