2012: Quantum Physics From The Maya

Collider Test Date Set for December 2012!
This year, CERN (European Organization for NuclearResearch) starts another series of experiments, in the hope that it will get much closer to the finishing point of the Standard Model of particle physics.
Scientists at CERN have announced the dates of tests for the remainder of the year. In particular, on Monday, December 17, 2012 and on Friday, December 21, 2012, the CERN will start running a series of conflicts, which is expected to break records in high-voltage clashes that have already been made by the LHC (Large Hadron Collider), the largest particle accelerator in the world, created to be used in experiments aimed at better understanding of the Universe and its origin.
In these experiments, the CERN scientists hope to create individual reactions that will provide further information about antimatter and the Big Bang. The tests will take place in the week 17 to 21 December, 2012, and will be the last experiment before the LHC will be closed for upgrades and start operation again in 2014 (!)
Thus, the device believed by many people to provoke the end of the world will carry the most advanced test on the same day on which the world is predicted to end. How ironic is that? | Source

Could possibly have been set for that date to create more interests in the experiments..a no brainer in that sense..
The Mayans went extinct hundreds of years ago so who are these descendants? I don’t put much credence in their culture especially knowing they were pagans and believed in sacrificing humans to their false gods. My basis of understanding of future events is from the Bible and then I look at world events and tie them into scripture.
