“Doomsday Prepper” Raided By Police, FBI After Criticizing Obama
A “doomsday prepper” in a rural area of Maryland became a target for police and the FBI after he told an undercover cop that he was “very irritated” about Barack Obama’s re-election, sparking an investigation that eventually led to 46-year-old Terry Porter being thrown in prison and having his home raided by 150 armed officers.
The series of events began when an anonymous person contacted state police in early November claiming Porter was “getting crazier and crazier” and had been stockpiling “machine gun-style firearms” at his home in Sharpsburg. The police followed up by sending an undercover officer to Porter’s home pretending to be a potential customer for his welding business.
According to a charging document filed in Washington County District Court, Porter “openly admitted to being a prepper” (as if this was an illegal act in and of itself) and said that he was “very irritated” about the recent presidential election. Porter had also invested in an underground bomb shelter and had installed surveillance cameras on his property.
This is exhibit A of what a police state does. Hell, i better be careful of what i say because who knows, i may be harboring a dangerous opinion, This is insane. I hope there is a judge somewhere who will compensate this guy whodid absolutely nothing wrong. This country is going into the trash. -Mort

well i guess that prepper was right not trusting the goverment maybe he should of hidden his prepper items alittle better or not tell anyone,funny his neighbors said he was a very trust worthy person and everybody says the goverment is not trustworthy,so who is right and who should you watch out for

I can’t believe that people are surprised by this sort of thing… What on Earth did you expect? The government has demolished the Constitution and dissolved your Constitutionally protected rights. It has legally given itself the authority to either detain you indefinitely with no explanation, or assassinate you outright -also without having to explain itself. It has enacted so many different laws which make almost anything a political crime. The government has stolen your money to give to wealthy individuals on numerous occasions and has even arrested people for not patronizing grocery stores. It has outlawed hunting, fishing and other forms of food procurement -without special permission and licensing by the government (disallowing you to “kill the king’s deer”). The government has also built the biggest the largest and most intricate surveillance apparatus that would make Hitler and Stalin gush. Sadly, this is only the tip of the ice-berg and I could literally spend all day trying to list even a fraction of one percent of the police-state measures taken by the US government.
The United States is not becoming a police-state. It is a police-state. The American people are frighteningly docile. Are we really surprised when they do something like throw someone in jail for criticizing a government official? Have you been living under a rock, or have you just been lying to yourself, hoping that you could ignore everything going on so that you wouldn’t feel bad for not lifting a finger in defense of your children’s lives?
It amazed me all those people agreed to be on the natGeo show “Doomsday Preppers’. That’s just asking for trouble, if you are a prepper, keep your damn mouth shut. Anyone who thinks we still have freedom of speech, or freedom to buy and stockpile what we want, just go start criticizing the government openly and telling people you have a year’s worth of food, see what happens. That’s why I live way out in the country and mind my own business. Things have gotten crazy, and I honestly don’t think it matters who is president, both parties are working together anyway.
this kind of thing is happening more and more … look for a blockbuster story out of missouri about something very similar … the goons and thugs are the “good guys” … watch your back people …
Are you sure ALL he did was “criticize” President Obama? If he threatened the life of a sitting president, then the FBI and the authorities would get involved.
The fact that he is a prepper would be meaningless.
Funny how many people are prepping for something and they don’t even know what, just that they should.

Citizen-justice is a bad thing and Obama’s High Treason in getting the nuclear codes with false birth documents is Treason and myst be punished by lawful courts because he’s a foreign spy and this will be proven by the courts of law.
