23 November 2012

- The fourth and last eclipse of the year, a penumbral lunar eclipse, will occur on Wednesday, November 28, 2012.

People in Alaska, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, and most of Asia will be able to observe it, as well as parts of Africa and South America. Observers in western Canada and the USA can also see the eclipse, with the moonset occurring sometime after mid-eclipse. Eastern Canada and the USA will miss the eclipse entirely since it begins after moonset.
