From the past, but worth a reminder of the hypocrisy of the Obama administration as we head toward even more executive orders and full-scale implementation of the NDAA. Here’s a look back at Obama’s two speeches: one criticizing the “ad hoc legal strategy” of the Bush administration which led to Guantanamo, and the second where Obama asserts his administration’s efforts to “reshape” the legal framework of the U.S. Constitution, which will permit the indefinite detention of anyone, including American citizens, deemed a possible threat … all to protect the Homeland of course.
