Two people were killed and another was injured when attacked on Highway 190 in Las Salinas, at kilometer 112 of the cited federal highway.
Firearm injuries were noted on the chin, leg and back.
But at the site, along the road was the body of Levi Herrera Peralta about 25 years and who less than a month ago had returned from the United States.
Three feet off the road was the body of Armando Mendez Altamirano, who still had a bandana around his neck.
The mayor of San Pedro Totolapam, Eleazar Sibaja Palacios, arrived at the site and recognized the other person executed as Armando Mendez Altamirano, resident of the city, and who was known as “Woody Woodpecker”.
